Starkites Pro Rider Nico Suriel is back home in Cabarete after competing in the PKRA in Adicora, Venezuela. After he won against Pro French rider Victor Hays in the trials, Nico moved up in to the Adicora PKRA main event.
In the single eliminations, Nico was against strong Naish kiteboarder Sam Light. Nico, over powered on his 9 meter with 28 knots had a lot of crashes and could only land a few tricks and lost his heat. In the double eliminations, Nico’s first heat was against Russian rider Sergey Borisov. In his heat, he landed all his tricks clean and won his heat. In his second heat, Nico was against one of the top five best kiteboarder in the world Marc Jacobs. In the heat, Nico was landing most of his tricks not so clean. The crowd of 300 people was cheering while Nico was landing his tricks. He had a good heat against Marc Jacobs but lost by 13 points.
Nico got 13th place in the PKRA in Adicora, Venezuela.
In one month he goes to Hood River, USA for the Bridge of Gods kiteboard competition.
