New canadians ambassadors and one new regional agent !
Starkites is pleased to announce and welcome two new ambassadors in Canada.
Tony HASENKRUG is native of Mount Forest, Ontario and he’s currently living in Squamish, British Columbia. After snowboarding professionally for years back in the day, Tony was looking for something more… He picked up the sport after seeing it in a magazine. Tony was stoked and intrigued because it incorporated every sport he was into. Tony loves the diversity of kiteboarding…freestyle, surf, wakestyle, wakeskate, skim, snowboard, Noboard, skis, buggy, landboarding…How many sports have that many options? Tony will now be able to practice his favourite sport with kites designed at the height of his passion ! His choice to Star with his new team: the ARAWAK !
Rafael BALBAS, was born in Puerto La Cruz, Venezuela and moved to Montreal, Canada in 2006. He grew up near the ocean, surfing and in 2007, he made the transition from surfing to snowboarding…In 2010 he discovered snowkiting and then he tried kiting on the water, which made this sport go from a hobby to a real new level: passion! Rafael loves the versatility of kiting and adores the fact that kiteboarding gives him the opportunity to meet new people and allows him to travel around the world. Rafael’s choices for 2012: the ARAWAK 12m to practice his freestyle and the TAINA 9m to surf on the waves! Wherever there is wind, on snow or on water, you will find Rafael !

The team StarKites in Canada is also please to announce the venue of a new regional agent: Denis ROY (Trois-Rivières, Quebec). Denis main focus is to make sure, his region discover the real quality and value of the brand StarKites. Denis is available anytime to let you try the StarKites collection 2012 but have a soft spot for the TAINA 14m which he tried in less then 9 knots and the ARAWAK 10m for his incredible hang time !
