Stéphane is a passionate and experienced rider in many different water sports, and has ridden in spots all around the world.
Having spent over 15 years as chopper pilot in the French Navy, his adrenaline needs are high, and he finds kiteboarding is the best way to keep him high on sensations.
An avid kiter since 1997, and an IKO instructor since 2001, he is a genuine freerider & wave rider. He sometimes takes time out to compete with the younger generations, with spectacular results:

Based in the Dominican Republic, he has supported Starkites® ever since the brand was created. He is one of our highest regarded prototype testers- taking the kites out in the worst imaginable conditions to find out any points we can improve on.
Stéphane’s perfect quiver is a surfboard (between 5’3” and 6′) with an 8m S-BOW10 to ride from 10 to 30 knots.
